It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) once prayed the Isha prayer (in the last days of his life). This is the same prayer that people also call "Atima." When he finished the prayer and said the Salam, he stood up and said: "Remember this night because after a complete hundred years from it, no one alive on the face of the earth today will remain."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے (اپنی زندگی کے آخری ایام میں) ایک مرتبہ عشاء کی نماز پڑھائی یہ وہی نماز ہے جسے لوگ " عتمہ " بھی کہتے ہیں جب سلام پھیر چکے تو کھڑے ہو گئے اور فرمایا: کہ آج کی رات کو یاد رکھنا کیونکہ اس کے پورے سو سال بعد روئے زمین پر جو آج موجود ہیں ان میں سے کوئی بھی باقی نہ بچے گا۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne (apni zindagi ke aakhri ayyam mein) ek martaba Isha ki namaz parhai yeh wohi namaz hai jise log "Utma" bhi kehte hain jab salam pher chuke to kharay ho gaye aur farmaya: ki aaj ki raat ko yaad rakhna kyunki iske poore sau saal baad rue zameen par jo aaj maujood hain un mein se koi bhi baqi na bachega.
It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Do not eat several dates one after the other, without your companions having any."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: اپنے ساتھیوں کی اجازت کے بغیر ایک ساتھ کئی کھجوریں مت کھایا کرو۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: Apne saathiyon ki ijazat ke baghair ek sath kai khajoorain mat khaya karo.
It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever lets his garment hang down (below his ankles) out of pride, Allah will not look at him on the Day of Resurrection.”

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: جو شخص تکبر کی وجہ سے اپنے کپڑے گھسیٹتا ہوا چلتا ہے (کپڑے زمین پر گھستے جاتے ہیں) اللہ قیامت کے دن اس پر نظر رحم نہ فرمائے گا۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: Jo shakhs takabbur ki wajah se apne kapre ghaseetta hua chalta hai (kapre zameen par ghaste jate hain) Allah qayamat ke din us par nazar-e-reham na farmaye ga.
Anas ibn Sirin, may Allah have mercy on him, said: I was with Ibn Umar, may Allah be pleased with him and his father, in the plain of Arafat. When he set out, I set out with him. He went to the Imam and prayed Zuhr and Asr combined behind him, then he stood (in prayer) with him. I and some of my companions were with him. When the Imam left, we left with him. When Ibn Umar, may Allah be pleased with him and his father, reached a narrow passage, he made his camel kneel down. We also made our camels kneel down, thinking that he wanted to pray. But his slave, who was holding his reins, said that Ibn Umar, may Allah be pleased with him and his father, did not want to pray. Rather, he had remembered that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, had relieved himself when he reached this place, so he wanted to follow this Sunnah and relieve himself.

انس بن سیرین رحمہ اللہ کہتے کہ میں میدان عرفات میں سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کے ساتھ تھا جب وہ روانہ ہوئے تو میں بھی ان کے ساتھ چل پڑا وہ امام کے پاس پہنچے اور اس کے ساتھ ظہر اور عصر کی نماز اکٹھی پڑھی پھر اس کے ساتھ وقوف کیا میں اور میرے کچھ ساتھی بھی ان کے ساتھ شریک تھے یہاں تک کہ جب امام روانہ ہوا تو ہم بھی اس کے ساتھ روانہ ہو گئے سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما جب ایک تنگ راستے پر پہنچے تو انہوں نے اپنی اونٹنی کو بٹھایا ہم نے بھی اپنی اونٹنیوں کو بٹھالیا ہم یہ سمجھ رہے تھے کہ وہ نماز پڑھنا چاہتے ہیں لیکن ان کے غلام نے " جو ان کی سواری کو تھامے ہوئے تھا " بتایا کہ سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نماز نہیں پڑھنا چاہتے دراصل انہیں یہ بات یاد آگئی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ جب اس جگہ پر پہنچے تھے تو قضاء حاجت فرمائی تھی اس لئے ان کی خواہش یہ ہے کہ اس سنت کو بھی پورا کرتے ہوئے قضاء حاجت کر لیں۔
Anas bin Sireen rehmatullah alaih kehte hain keh main maidan Arafaat mein Syedna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a ke saath tha jab woh rawana huay tou main bhi un ke saath chal para woh Imam ke pass pohanchay aur uske saath Zuhr aur Asr ki namaz ikathi parhi phir uske saath waqoof kiya main aur mere kuch sathi bhi unke saath sharik thay yahan tak ke jab Imam rawana hua tou hum bhi uske saath rawana ho gaye Syedna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a jab ek tang rastay par pohanchay tou unhon ne apni untni ko bithaya hum ne bhi apni untniyon ko bithaliya hum yeh samajh rahe thay ke woh namaz parhna chahte hain lekin unke ghulam ne "jo unki sawari ko thame huay tha" bataya ke Syedna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a namaz nahi parhna chahte darasal unhain yeh baat yaad aa gayi hai ke Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) jab is jagah par pohanchay thay tou Qaza Hajat farmai thi is liye unki khwahish yeh hai ke is Sunnat ko bhi pura karte huay Qaza Hajat kar lein.
Muslim bin Yanaq (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates: I was sitting with Abdullah Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) in the assembly of Banu Abdullah when a young Qurayshi man passed by with his lower garment hanging below his ankles. Abdullah Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) called him and asked, “To which family do you belong?” He replied, “Banu Bakr.” He said, “Do you wish that Allah should look at you with mercy on the Day of Judgment?” He replied, “Yes.” He said, “Then pull up your lower garment. I have heard with these two ears of mine Abu’l-Qasim (Prophet Muhammad peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying: ‘Allah will not look with mercy on the Day of Judgment at the one who lets down his lower garment below his ankles out of pride.’”

مسلم بن یناق رحمہ اللہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں بنو عبداللہ کی مجلس میں سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کے ساتھ بیٹھا ہوا تھا کہ ایک قریشی نوجوان ٹخنوں سے نیچے شلوار لٹکائے وہاں سے گزرا سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے اسے بلایا اور پوچھا تم کس خاندان سے تعلق رکھتے ہو؟ اس نے کہا بنو بکر سے فرمایا: کیا تم یہ چاہتے ہو کہ اللہ قیامت کے دن تم پر نظر رحم فرمائیں؟ اس نے کہا جی ہاں فرمایا: اپنی شلوار اونچی کرو میں نے ابوالقاسم ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے اپنے ان دو کانوں سے سنا ہے جو شخص صرف تکبر کی وجہ سے اپنی شلوار زمین پر کھینچتا ہے اللہ اس پر قیامت کے دن نظر رحم نہ فرمائے گا۔
Muslim bin Yaqoob rehmatullah alaih kehte hain ke main Banu Abdullah ki majlis mein Sayyiduna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a ke sath betha hua tha ke ek Quraishi naujawan takhno se neeche shalwar latkaye wahan se guzra Sayyiduna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a ne use bulaya aur poocha tum kis khandan se taluq rakhte ho? Usne kaha Banu Bakr se farmaya: kya tum ye chahte ho ke Allah qayamat ke din tum par nazar rehmat farmaen? Usne kaha ji haan farmaya: apni shalwar oonchi karo maine Abu'l-Qaasim (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ye farmate hue apne in do kaano se suna hai jo shakhs sirf takabbur ki wajah se apni shalwar zameen par kheechta hai Allah us par qayamat ke din nazar rehmat na farmayega.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would sit in tashahhud (sitting position during prayer), he would place his left hand on his left knee and his right hand on his right knee, and he would fold the finger that indicates the number 53 and supplicate.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ جب تشہد میں بیٹھتے تو اپنے بائیں ہاتھ کو بائیں گھٹنے پر اور دائیں ہاتھ کو دائیں گھٹنے پر رکھ لیتے اور ٥٣ کا عدد بتانے والی انگلی کو بند کر لیتے اور دعاء فرماتے۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) jab tashhud mein bethte to apne bayen hath ko bayen ghutne par aur dayen hath ko dayen ghutne par rakh lete aur 53 ka adad batane wali ungli ko band kar lete aur dua farmate.
It was narrated from Ibn ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “There are no days greater in the sight of Allah and in which righteous deeds are more beloved to Him than these ten days, so during this time recite much Tahleel (saying Laa ilaaha ill-Allah), Takbeer (saying Allahu Akbar) and Tahmeed (saying Alhamdu Lillaah).”

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: عشرہ ذی الحجہ سے بڑھ کر کوئی دن اللہ کی نگاہوں میں معظم نہیں اور نہ ہی ان کے علاوہ کسی اور دن میں اعمال اتنے زیادہ پسند ہیں اس لئے ان دنوں میں تہلیل و تکبیر اور تحمید کی کثرت کیا کرو۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: Ashra Zil Hajj se badh kar koi din Allah ki nigaahon mein moazzam nahin aur na hi in ke ilawa kisi aur din mein amal itne zyada pasand hain is liye in dino mein tahleel o takbeer aur tahmeed ki kasrat kiya karo.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to offer nafl prayer while riding his mount, no matter which direction it was facing, and he would gesture with his head. Sayyidina Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) used to do the same.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ اپنی سواری پر " خواہ اس کا رخ کسی بھی سمت میں ہوتا نفل نماز پڑھ لیا کرتے تھے اور سر سے اشارہ فرماتے تھے سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما بھی اسی طرح کرتے تھے۔

It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar Radiallahu Anhu that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) once held a part of my body and said: Worship Allah as if you are seeing Him. Live in this world like a traveler or a wayfarer.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ایک مرتبہ میرے جسم کے کسی حصے کو پکڑ کر فرمایا: اللہ کی عبادت اس طرح کیا کرو کہ گویا تم اسے دیکھ رہے ہو دنیا میں اس طرح رہو جیسے کوئی مسافر یا راہ گزر ہوتا ہے۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne ek martaba mere jism ke kisi hisse ko pakar kar farmaya: Allah ki ibadat is tarah kiya karo ki goya tum usay dekh rahe ho duniya mein is tarah raho jaise koi musafir ya rah guzar hota hai.
Narrated by Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him): Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) asked Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him): “If a person becomes sexually impure, can he sleep in that state?” Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: “Yes, he may perform ablution and sleep.”

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ سیدنا عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے نبی ﷺ سے پوچھا اگر کوئی آدمی اختیاری طور پر ناپاک ہو جائے تو کیا اسی حال میں سو سکتا ہے؟ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: ہاں! وضو کر لے اور سو جائے۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Sayyidna Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se pucha agar koi aadmi ikhtiyari tor par napak ho jaye to kya isi hal mein so sakta hai? Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: Haan! Wuzu kar le aur so jaye.
Matlab bin Abdullah narrated that Ibn Umar, may Allah be pleased with him, used to wash the parts of ablution three times and he attributed this practice to the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him.

مطلب بن عبداللہ کہتے ہیں کہ سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما اعضاء وضو کو تین تین مرتبہ دھوتے تھے اور اس کی نسبت نبی ﷺ کی طرف کرتے تھے۔
Matlab bin Abdullah kehte hain ki Sayyida Ibne Umar Radi Allaho Anhuma aaza wazu ko teen teen martaba dhote thay aur is ki nisbat Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ki taraf karte thay.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) offered the Salat al-Khawf (prayer of fear) in this way: He made one group stand behind him and made them perform one bowing (ruku) and two prostrations (sajdahs), while the other group remained standing facing the enemy. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) proceeded, and the group that had prayed one rak'ah with him went (to face the enemy), and the other group came (and stood behind him). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) made them also perform one bowing and two prostrations, and then he finished the prayer (with taslim). After that, every man from both groups stood up and completed one rak'ah with two prostrations by himself.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے صلوۃ الخوف اس طرح پڑھائی ہے کہ ایک گروہ کو اپنے پیچھے کھڑا کر کے ایک رکوع اور دو سجدے کروائے دوسرا گروہ دشمن کے سامنے کھڑا رہا پھر نبی ﷺ کے ساتھ جس گروہ نے ایک رکعت پڑھی تھی وہ چلا گیا اور دوسرا گروہ آگیا نبی ﷺ نے انہیں بھی ایک رکوع اور دو سجدے کروائے اور نبی ﷺ نے سلام پھیر دیا اس کے بعد دونوں گروہوں کے ہر آدمی نے کھڑے ہو کر خود ہی ایک رکعت دو سجدوں کے ساتھ پڑھ لی۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Salatul Khauf is tarah parhayi hai ki ek giroh ko apne peeche khara kar ke ek ruku aur do sajday karwaye dusra giroh dushman ke samne khara raha phir Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke sath jis giroh ne ek rakat parhayi thi wo chala gaya aur dusra giroh aa gaya Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne unhen bhi ek ruku aur do sajday karwaye aur Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne salam phir diya uske bad dono girohon ke har aadmi ne kharay ho kar khud hi ek rakat do sajdon ke sath parh li.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar, may Allah be pleased with them both, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Allah Almighty accepts the repentance of a person before the state of death throes overcomes him.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: اللہ تعالیٰ بندہ کی توبہ نزع کی کیفیت طاری ہونے سے پہلے تک بھی قبول فرما لیتا ہے۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Rasulullah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: Allah ta'ala banda ki tauba naz'e ki kaifiyat tari hone se pehle tak bhi qubool farma leta hai.
Narrated by Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that whenever the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would be on a journey or in battle and night would fall, he would supplicate, "O Earth, my Lord and your Lord is Allah. I seek refuge in Allah from your evil, the evil that is within you, the evil of what is created within you, and the evil of those who walk upon you. I seek refuge in Allah from every lion and black thing, from snakes and scorpions, from the evil of the city dwellers, and from the evil of parents and children."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ اگر کسی سفریا غزوہ میں ہوتے اور رات کا وقت آجاتا تو یہ دعا فرماتے کہ اے زمین میرا اور تیرا رب اللہ ہے میں تیرے شر تجھ میں موجود شر تیرے اندر پیدا کی گئی چیزوں کے شر اور تجھ پر چلنے والوں کے شر سے اللہ کی پناہ میں آتا ہوں میں ہر شیر اور کالی چیز سے سانپ اور بچھو سے اہلیان شہر کے شر سے اور والد اور اولاد کے شر سے اللہ کی پناہ میں آتا ہوں۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) agar kisi safarya ghazwa mein hote aur raat ka waqt aajata to yeh dua farmate ki aye zameen mera aur tera rabb Allah hai mein tere shar tujh mein mojood shar tere andar paida ki gayi cheezon ke shar aur tujh par chalne walon ke shar se Allah ki panaah mein aata hun mein har sher aur kali cheez se saanp aur bichhu se ahleyan shehar ke shar se aur walid aur aulad ke shar se Allah ki panaah mein aata hun.
It is narrated by Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: "My Basin (Hawd al-Kawthar) is as vast as the distance between Aden and Amman. Its water is cooler than ice, sweeter than honey, and more fragrant than musk. Its drinking vessels are as numerous as the stars in the sky. Whoever drinks a mouthful from it will never thirst again. And the first to come to this Basin will be the poor Muhajireen.” Someone asked, “O Messenger of Allah! Who are they?" He replied, "Those with disheveled hair and dusty faces, and clothes covered in dirt. Those for whom doors were not opened in this world, whose proposals were not accepted for girls raised in comfort and luxury, those who fulfilled all their responsibilities and did not claim their rights."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ میرا حوض عدن اور عمان کے درمیانی فاصلے جتنا بڑا ہے اس کا پانی برف سے زیادہ ٹھنڈا شہد سے زیادہ شریں اور مشک سے زیادہ خوشبودار ہے اس کے آبخورے آسمان کے ستاروں کے برابر ہیں جو شخص اس کا ایک گھونٹ پی لے گا وہ کبھی پیاسا نہ ہو گا اور سب سے پہلے اس حوض پر آنے والے پھکڑ مہاجرین ہوں گے کسی نے پوچھا یا رسول اللہ! وہ کون لوگ ہوں گے؟ فرمایا: پراگندہ بال دھنسے ہوئے چہروں اور میلے کچیلے کپڑوں والے جن کے لئے دنیا میں دروازے نہیں کھولے جاتے ناز و نعمت میں پلی ہوئی لڑکیوں سے ان کا رشتہ قبول نہیں کیا جاتا اور جو اپنی ہر ذمہ داری پوری کرتے ہیں اور اپنا حق وصول نہیں کرتے۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ye farmate huye suna hai ki mera hauz Aden aur Oman ke darmiyaani fasle jitna bada hai is ka paani barf se zyada thanda shehad se zyada shireen aur mushk se zyada khushbudar hai is ke abkhore aasman ke sitaron ke barabar hain jo shakhs is ka ek ghont pee le ga woh kabhi pyasa na ho ga aur sab se pehle is hauz par aane wale fuqara muhajireen honge kisi ne poocha Ya Rasulullah woh kaun log honge farmaya faraganda baal dhanse huye chehron aur maile kacheele kapdon wale jin ke liye duniya mein darwaze nahin kholey jate naz o nemat mein pali hui ladkiyon se in ka rishta qubool nahin kiya jata aur jo apni har zimmedari puri karte hain aur apna haq wusool nahin karte
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to raise his hands up to his shoulders while saying the Takbir (Allahu Akbar) at the commencement of prayer and while bowing and prostrating.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ تکبیر کہہ کرنماز شروع کرتے وقت اور رکوع سجدہ کرتے وقت کندھوں کے برابر رفع یدین کرتے تھے۔

It is narrated by Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ordered me to bring a knife. I brought it, and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) sent someone to sharpen it. Then he gave the knife to me and said: "Bring this knife to me in the morning." I did as I was told. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) went out with his companions (may Allah be pleased with them) to the markets of Medina, where wineskins imported from Syria were hanging. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) took the knife from my hand and ripped open every wineskin that he came across. Then he gave the knife back to me and ordered his companions who were present (may Allah be pleased with them) to go with me and assist me. And he said to me: "Go around all the markets and wherever you find a wineskin, rip it open." So I did, and I left no wineskin in the markets without ripping it open.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ نے مجھے چھری لانے کا حکم دیا میں لے آیا نبی ﷺ نے اسے تیز کرنے کے لئے بھیج دیا اس کے بعد وہ چھری مجھے دیتے ہوئے فرمایا: کہ یہ چھری صبح کے وقت میرے پاس لے کر آنا میں نے ایسا ہی کیا نبی ﷺ اپنے صحابہ رضی اللہ عنہ کے ساتھ مدینہ منورہ کے بازاروں میں نکلے جہاں شام سے درآمد کئے گئے شراب کے مشکیزے لٹک رہے تھے نبی ﷺ نے میرے ہاتھ سے چھری لی اور جو مشکیزہ بھی سامنے نظر آیا اسے چاک کر دیا اس کے بعد وہ چھری مجھے عطاء فرمائی اور اپنے ساتھ موجود صحابہ کر ام رضی اللہ عنہ کو میرے ساتھ جانے اور میرے ساتھ تعاون کرنے کا حکم دیا اور مجھ سے فرمایا: کہ میں سارے بازاروں کا چکر لگاؤں اور جہاں کہیں بھی شراب کا کوئی مشکیزہ پاؤں اسے چاک کر دوں چنانچہ میں نے ایسا ہی کیا اور بازاروں میں کوئی مشکیزہ ایسا نہ چھوڑا جسے میں نے چاک نہ کر دیا ہو۔
Sayyiduna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki ek martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne mujhe chhuri lane ka hukum diya mein le aaya Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne use tez karne ke liye bhej diya uske baad woh chhuri mujhe dete huye farmaya: ki yeh chhuri subah ke waqt mere paas le kar aana maine aisa hi kiya Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) apne sahaba (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ke sath Madina Munawwara ke bazaron mein nikle jahan sham se aamad kiye gaye sharab ke mashkize latak rahe the Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne mere hath se chhuri li aur jo mashkiza bhi samne nazar aaya use chaak kar diya uske baad woh chhuri mujhe ataa farmaee aur apne sath mojood sahaba kiram (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ko mere sath jaane aur mere sath taawun karne ka hukum diya aur mujh se farmaya: ki mein sare bazaron ka chakkar lagaun aur jahan kahin bhi sharab ka koi mashkiza paaun use chaak kar dun chunancha maine aisa hi kiya aur bazaron mein koi mashkiza aisa na chhoda jise maine chaak na kar diya ho.
Zaid bin Aslam narrates from his father that once he went with Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) to Abdullah bin Mut'i. He welcomed Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) and ordered the people to offer him a pillow. Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) said: I have come to narrate to you a hadith that I heard from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying: Whoever withdraws his hand from the rightful ruler of his time, his argument will not be accepted on the Day of Resurrection, and whoever dies leaving the "Jama'ah" (main body of the Muslims) will die the death of Jahiliyyah (pre-Islamic ignorance).

زید بن اسلم اپنے والد سے نقل کرتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ میں سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کے ساتھ عبداللہ بن مطیع کے یہاں گیا، اس نے سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کو خوش آمدید کہا اور لوگوں کو حکم دیا کہ انہیں تکیہ پیش کرو، سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے فرمایا: کہ میں آپ کو ایک حدیث سنانے آیاہوں جو میں نے نبی ﷺ سے سنی ہے میں نے نبی ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ جو شخص صحیح حکمران وقت سے ہاتھ کھینچتا ہے قیامت کے دن اس کی کوئی حجت قبول نہ ہو گی اور جو شخص " جماعت " کو چھوڑ کر مرگیا تو وہ جاہلیت کی موت مرا۔
Zaid bin Aslam apne walid se naqal karte hain ki ek martaba mein Sayyiduna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a ke sath Abdullah bin Mutee ke yahan gaya, usne Sayyiduna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a ko khush aamadeed kaha aur logon ko hukm diya ki unhen takiya pesh karo, Sayyiduna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a ne farmaya: ki mein aapko ek hadees sunane aaya hun jo mein ne Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se suni hai mein ne Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ye farmate huye suna hai ki jo shakhs sahih hakumran waqt se hath khenchta hai qayamat ke din uski koi hujjat qubool na ho gi aur jo shakhs "jamaat" ko chhor kar mar gaya to wo jahiliyat ki maut mara.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar Radi Allahu Anhu who reported the Messenger of Allah saying: "Envy is not permissible except for two: A person whom Allah has given wealth and he spends it in the way of Allah, day and night. And a person whom Allah has given wisdom (Quran) and he acts upon it and teaches it."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے یہ ارشادنبوی منقول ہے کہ سوائے دو آدمیوں کے کسی اور پر حسد (رشک) کرنا جائز نہیں ہے ایک وہ آدمی جسے اللہ نے قرآن کی دولت دی ہو اور وہ رات دن اس کی تلاوت میں مصروف رہتاہو اور دوسرا وہ آدمی جسے اللہ نے مال و دولت عطاء فرمایا: ہو اور اسے راہ حق میں لٹانے پر مسلط کر دیا ہو۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se ye Irshad Nabvi manqool hai keh siwae do aadmiyon ke kisi aur par hasad (rashq) karna jaiz nahi hai aik wo aadmi jise Allah ne Quran ki daulat di ho aur wo raat din us ki tilawat mein masroof rehta ho aur doosra wo aadmi jise Allah ne maal o daulat ataa farmaya ho aur use raah haq mein lutane par musallat kar diya ho.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (Allah be pleased with him) that once we were sitting with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and he was mentioning the trials and tribulations (fitan). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) described them in detail and also mentioned the "tribulation of gatherings" (fitna ajlas). Someone asked, "O Messenger of Allah! What is meant by the tribulation of gatherings?" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "It refers to the tribulation of fleeing and fighting."
Then the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) mentioned the tribulation of Syria (fitna siraa) and said, "Its smoke will rise from beneath the feet of a man from my family. He will think that he is from me, but he has nothing to do with me. My true friends are the pious ones." Then the people will unite under a man who is like a broken rib.
After that, the tribulation will subside, but it will not leave without striking every person of this Ummah like a slap. When people will say that this tribulation has ended, it will reemerge with even greater intensity. In that time, a person will be a believer in the morning and a disbeliever in the evening, to the point that people will be divided into tents: one tent of faith with no hypocrisy in it, and another tent of hypocrisy with no faith in it. When such a time comes upon you, then await the Dajjal, for he will emerge on that day or the next.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ ہم لوگ نبی ﷺ کے پاس بیٹھے ہوئے تھے نبی ﷺ فتنوں کا تذکر ہ فرما رہے تھے آپ ﷺ نے خاصی تفصیل سے ان کا ذکر فرمایا: اور درمیان میں " فتنہ اجلاس " کا بھی ذکر کیا کسی نے پوچھا یا رسول اللہ!! فتنہ احلاس سے کیا مراد ہے؟ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: اس سے مراد بھاگنے اور جنگ کرنے کا فتنہ ہے پھر نبی ﷺ نے فتنہ سراء کا ذکر کرتے ہوئے فرمایا: کہ اس کا دھواں میرے اہل بیت میں سے ایک آدمی کے قدموں کے نیچے سے اٹھے گا اس کا گمان یہ ہو گا کہ وہ مجھ سے ہے، حالانکہ اس کا مجھ سے کوئی تعلق نہ ہو گا میرے دوست تو متقی لوگ ہیں پھر لوگ ایک ایسے آدمی پرا تفاق کر لیں گے جو پسلی پر کو ل ہے کی مانند ہو گا۔
اس کے بعدفتنہ دھیما ہو گا جو اس امت کے ہر آدمی پر ایک طمانچہ جڑے بغیر نہ چھوڑے گا لوگ اس کے متعلق جب کہیں گے کہ یہ فتنہ ختم ہو گیا تو وہ اور بڑھ کر سامنے آئے گا اس زمانے میں ایک آدمی صبح کو مؤمن اور شام کو کافر ہو گا یہاں تک کہ لوگ خیموں میں تقسیم ہو جائیں گے ایک خیمہ ایمان کا ہو گا جس میں نفاق نامی کوئی چیز نہ ہو گی اور دوسراخیمہ نفاق کا ہو گا جس میں ایمان نامی کوئی چیز نہ ہو گی جب تم پر ایسا وقت آ جائے تودجال کا انتظار کرو کہ وہ اسی دن یا اگلے دن نکل آتا ہے۔

Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: is se murad bhaagne aur jang karne ka fitna hai phir Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne fitna sira ka zikar karte hue farmaya: ki is ka dhwan mere ahl bait mein se ek aadmi ke qadmon ke neeche se uthega is ka guman ye hoga ki wo mujh se hai, halanki is ka mujh se koi ta'lluq na hoga mere dost to muttaqi log hain phir log ek aise aadmi par ittefaq kar lenge jo pasli par kohu le ki manind ho ga.
Iske baad fitna dheema ho ga jo is ummat ke har aadmi par ek thappad jare baghair na chhorega log is ke mutalliq jab kahenge ki ye fitna khatm ho gaya to wo aur badh kar samne aayega is zamane mein ek aadmi subah ko momin aur sham ko kafir ho ga yahan tak ki log khaimon mein taqseem ho jayenge ek khaima iman ka ho ga jis mein nifaaq nami koi cheez na hogi aur doosra khaima nifaaq ka ho ga jis mein iman nami koi cheez na hogi jab tum par aisa waqt aa jaye to dajjal ka intezar karo ki wo usi din ya agle din nikal aata hai.
Faida. Is hadees ki mukammal wazahat ke liye hamari kitab "Fitna Dajjal Quran o Hadees ki roshni mein" ka mutala farmaiye.
Narrated by Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that once a man asked the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), "O Messenger of Allah! How should one pray the night prayer?" He said, "Pray two rak'ahs at a time, and when you fear that dawn is approaching, pray one rak'ah as Witr."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ ایک شخص نے نبی ﷺ سے پوچھا یا رسول اللہ! رات کی نماز کس طرح پڑھی جائے؟ فرمایا: تم دو دو رکعت کر کے نماز پڑھا کرو اور جب صبح ہوجانے کا اندیشہ ہو تو ان دو کے ساتھ بطوروتر کے ایک رکعت اور ملا لو۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki ek martaba ek shakhs ne Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se pucha Ya Rasul Allah! Raat ki namaz kis tarah parhi jaye? Farmaya: Tum do do rakat kar ke namaz parh liya karo aur jab subah hojane ka andesha ho to in do ke sath ba taur witr ke ek rakat aur mila lo.
It is narrated by Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: The night prayer consists of two rak'ahs and when you fear that dawn is approaching, then add one rak'ah with these two, and Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) himself used to offer one rak'ah witr.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: رات کی نماز دو دو رکعت پر مشتمل ہوتی ہے اور جب صبح ہوجانے کا اندیشہ ہو تو ان دو کے ساتھ ایک رکعت اور ملا لو اور خود سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما بھی ایک رکعت وتر پڑھتے تھے۔
Seyedna Ibn Umar Radi Allaho Anhuma se marvi hai ki ek martaba Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: Raat ki namaz do do rakat par mushtamil hoti hai aur jab subah ho jaane ka andesha ho to in do ke sath ek rakat aur mila lo aur khud Seyedna Ibn Umar Radi Allaho Anhuma bhi ek rakat witr parhte thay.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him and his father) that he said: I myself heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ordering the killing of dogs.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے نبی ﷺ کو کتے مارنے کا حکم دیتے ہوئے خود سنا ہے
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki maine Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko kutte maarne ka hukum dete hue khud suna hai
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to observe Itikaf (seclusion in the mosque for worship) during the last ten days of Ramadan.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ ماہ رمضان کے عشرہ اخیرہ کا اعتکاف فرمایا: کرتے تھے۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) mah Ramadan ke ashra akhira ka aitekaf farmaya karte thay.
Narrated by Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that once he was standing in the plain of Arafat. He looked at the sun, which was hanging like a shield, ready to set. Upon seeing it, he began to cry and he cried intensely. A man asked, “O Abu Abdur Rahman, I have had the opportunity to stand with you many times, but you have never done this before?” He replied, “I was reminded of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). He too stood in this very place and said, ‘O people! The life of this world, in comparison to what has passed, is only as much as what remains of this day compared to what has already passed.' "

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ وہ ایک مرتبہ میدان عرفات میں وقوف کئے ہوئے تھے انہوں نے سورج کو دیکھا جو غروب کے لئے ڈھال کی طرح لٹک آیا تھا وہ اسے دیکھ کر رونے لگے اور خوب روئے ایک آدمی نے پوچھا کہ اے ابو عبدالرحمن آپ کے ساتھ مجھے کئی مرتبہ وقوف کا موقع ملا ہے لیکن کبھی آپ نے ایسا نہیں کیا؟ انہوں نے فرمایا: کہ مجھے نبی ﷺ کی یاد آگئی وہ بھی اسی جگہ پر وقوف کئے ہوئے تھے انہوں نے فرمایا: تھا لوگو! دنیا کی جتنی زندگی گزر چکی ہے اس کے بقیہ حصے کی نسبت صرف اتنی ہی ہے جتنی اس دن کے بقیہ حصے کی گزرے ہوئے دن کے ساتھ ہے۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki woh ek martaba maidan Arafat mein waqoof kiye hue the unhon ne sooraj ko dekha jo ghuroob ke liye dhaal ki tarah latak aaya tha woh ise dekh kar rone lage aur khoob roye ek aadmi ne poocha ki aye Abu Abdur Rahman aap ke sath mujhe kai martaba waqoof ka mauqa mila hai lekin kabhi aap ne aisa nahi kiya unhon ne farmaya ki mujhe Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki yaad aa gai woh bhi isi jagah par waqoof kiye hue the unhon ne farmaya tha logo duniya ki jitni zindagi guzar chuki hai uske baqi hisse ki nisbat sirf utni hi hai jitni is din ke baqi hisse ki guzre hue din ke sath hai
Yahya relates that once a slave girl of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) came to him and said: "O Abu Abdur Rahman! Peace be upon you." Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) asked: "What is the matter?" She said: "I want to go to some green and pleasant land." Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said to her: "Sit down, I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: 'Whoever bears the hardships and difficulties of Madinah Munawwarah with patience, I will intercede for him on the Day of Judgement.'"

یوحنس کہتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کی ایک باندی ان کے پاس آگئی اور کہنے لگی اے ابوعبدالرحمن آپ کو سلام ہو سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے پوچھا کیا مطلب؟ اس نے کہا کہ میں کسی سرسبز و شاداب علاقے میں جانا چاہتی ہوں سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے اس سے فرمایا: بیٹھ جاؤ میں نے نبی ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ جو شخص مدینہ منورہ کی تکالیف اور سختیوں پر صبر کرے میں قیامت کے دن اس کی سفارش کروں گا۔
Yuhanas kehty hain keh aik martaba Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a ki aik bandi un k paas aa gai aur kehne lagi aye Abuabdurrehman aap ko salaam ho Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a ne poocha kya matlab us ne kaha keh main kisi sar sabz o shadab elakey main jana chahti hun Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a ne us se farmaya baith jao maine Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ye farmate huey suna hai keh jo shakhs Madina Munawwara ki takaleef aur sakhtiyon par sabar karey main qayamat k din us ki sifarish karunga.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would stand for prayer, he would raise his hands so high that they would reach his shoulders. Then he would say the takbir (Allahu Akbar). When he would bow down in ruku', he would again raise his hands so high that they would reach his shoulders. Then he would say the takbir and go into ruku'. When he would want to raise his back (from ruku'), he would again raise his hands so high that they would reach his shoulders and say "Sami' Allahu liman hamidah" (Allah hears those who praise Him) and then go into prostration (sajdah). However, he would not raise his hands in sajdah. Rather, he would raise his hands in every standing (qiyam) and before every takbir in ruku', until the prayer was completed.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ جب نماز کے لئے کھڑے ہوتے تو اپنے ہاتھ اتنے بلند کرتے کہ وہ کندھوں کے برابر آجاتے پھر تکبیر کہتے جب رکوع میں جاتے تو پھر اپنے ہاتھ اتنے بلند کرتے کہ وہ کندھوں کے برابر آ جائے پھر تکبیر کہتے اور رکوع میں چلے جاتے جب اپنی پشت کو بلند کرنا چاہتے تو پھر اپنے ہاتھ اتنے بلند کرتے کہ وہ کندھوں کے برابرآجاتے اور سمع اللہ لمن حمدہ کہتے اور سجدے میں چلے جاتے لیکن سجدے میں رفع یدین نہیں کرتے تھے البتہ ہر رکعت میں اور رکوع سے پہلے ہر تکبیر میں رفع یدین کرتے تھے یہاں تک کہ نماز مکمل ہوجاتی تھی۔
Saina Ibne Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) jab Namaz ke liye kharay hote to apne hath itne buland karte ki woh kandhon ke barabar ajate phir takbeer kehte jab ruku mein jate to phir apne hath itne buland karte ki woh kandhon ke barabar a jaye phir takbeer kehte aur ruku mein chale jate jab apni pusht ko buland karna chahte to phir apne hath itne buland karte ki woh kandhon ke barabar ajate aur Samiallahu Liman Hamidah kehte aur Sajde mein chale jate lekin Sajde mein rafay yadain nahi karte thay albatta har rakat mein aur ruku se pehle har takbeer mein rafay yadain karte thay yahan tak ki Namaz mukammal hojati thi.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that once a man asked the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), "O Messenger of Allah, how should the night prayer be offered?" He said, "Offer the prayer in units of two rak'ahs, and when you fear that dawn is approaching, then offer one rak'ah with those two as Witr."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ ایک شخص نے نبی ﷺ سے پوچھا یا رسول اللہ! رات کی نماز کس طرح پڑھی جائے؟ فرمایا: تم دو دو رکعت کر کے نماز پڑھا کرو اور جب صبح ہوجانے کا اندیشہ ہو تو ان دو کے ساتھ بطور وتر کے ایک رکعت اور ملا لو۔

Narrated by Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him): The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever misses the afternoon prayer, it is as if he has been deprived of his family and wealth."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: جس شخص کی نماز عصر فوت ہو جائے گویا اس کے اہل خانہ اور مال تباہ و برباد ہو گیا۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: Jis shakhs ki namaz Asar foot ho jaye goya uske ahl khana aur maal tabah o barbad ho gaya.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: When Allah Almighty sent Sayyidna Adam (peace be upon him) to Earth, the angels said, "O Lord! Are you making this person your vicegerent on Earth, who will spread mischief and bloodshed, while we glorify You with Your praise and exalt Your holiness?" Allah Almighty said to the angels, "Bring me two angels so that I may send them down to Earth, and we will see what they do." The angels presented Harut and Marut, and both of them were sent down to Earth.
After that, a planet called "Venus" was sent to them in the form of an extremely beautiful woman. She came to both of them, and they began to demand that she surrender herself to them. She said, "By God! This cannot happen until you utter this polytheistic statement." Harut and Marut said, "By God, we will never associate partners with Allah." Hearing this, she went back and returned after a while carrying a baby. They again made the same demand to her. She said, "This cannot happen until you kill this child." Both of them said, "We will never kill him in any way." She went back again and returned shortly after carrying a cup of wine. As before, they made the same demand to her, but she said, "This cannot happen until you drink this wine." Both of them drank the wine, and becoming intoxicated, they committed adultery with her and killed the child as well. When they regained consciousness, she said, "You refused to do the two things, but after becoming intoxicated, you did not refrain from either of them." Then they were given the choice of punishment in this world and punishment in the Hereafter, so they chose the punishment of this world.
Benefit: Allama Ibn al-Jawzi (may Allah have mercy on him) has included this hadith in the fabricated narrations.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ انہوں نے نبی ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ جب اللہ تعالیٰ نے سیدنا آدم (علیہ السلام) کو زمین پر اتارا تو فرشتے کہنے لگے اے پروردگار کیا آپ زمین میں اس شخص کو اپنا نائب بنا رہے ہیں جو اس میں فساد پھیلائے گا اور خونریزی کرے گا جب کہ ہم آپ کی تحمید کے ساتھ آپ کی تسبیح اور تقدیس بیان کرتے ہیں؟ اللہ تعالیٰ نے فرشتوں سے فرمایا: تم دو فرشتوں کو لے آؤ تاکہ زمین پر اتارآ جائے اور ہم دیکھیں کہ وہ کیا کام کرتے ہیں؟ فرشتوں نے ہاروت اور ماروت کو پیش کیا اور ان دونوں کو زمین پرا تار دیا گیا۔
اس کے بعد '' زہرہ " نامی سیارے کو ایک انتہائی خوبصورت عورت کی شکل میں ان کے پاس بھیجا گیا وہ ان دونوں کے پاس آئی وہ دونوں اس سے اپنے آپ کو ان کے حوالے کرنے کا مطالبہ کرنے لگے اس نے کہا بخدا! ایسا اس وقت تک نہیں ہو سکتا جب تک تم یہ شرکیہ جملہ نہ کہو، ہاروت اور ماروت بولے بخدا ہم اللہ کے ساتھ کبھی شرک نہ کر یں گے۔ یہ سن کروہ واپس چلی گئی اور کچھ دیر بعد ایک بچے کو اٹھائے ہوئے واپس آگئی انہوں نے پھر اس سے وہی تقاضا کیا اس نے کہا کہ جب تک اس بچے کو قتل نہیں کرتے اس وقت تک یہ نہیں ہو سکتا وہ دونوں کہنے لگے کہ ہم تو اسے کسی صورت میں قتل نہیں کر یں گے۔ وہ پھر واپس چلی گئی اور تھوڑی دیر بعد ہی شراب کا ایک پیالہ اٹھائے چلی آئی انہوں نے حسب سابق اس سے وہی تقاضا کیا لیکن اس نے کہا کہ جب تک یہ شراب نہ پیو گے اس وقت ایسا نہیں ہو سکتا ان دونوں نے شراب پی لی اور نشے میں آ کر اس سے بدکاری بھی کی اور بچے کو بھی قتل کر دیا اور جب انہیں افاقہ ہوا تو وہ کہنے لگی کہ تم نے جن دو کاموں کو کرنے سے انکار کیا تھا نشے میں مد ہوش ہونے کے بعد تم نے اس میں سے ایک کام کو بھی نہ چھوڑا پھر انہیں دنیا کی سزا اور آخرت کے عذاب میں اختیار دیا گیا تو انہوں نے دنیا کی سزا کو اختیار کر لیا۔
فائدہ۔ علامہ ابن جوزی رحمہ اللہ نے اس حدیث کو موضوعات میں شمار کیا ہے۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki unhon ne Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ye farmate huye suna hai ki jab Allah Ta'ala ne Sayyidna Adam Alaihissalam ko zameen par utara to firishte kehne lage aye Parvardigaar kya aap zameen mein is shakhs ko apna naib bana rahe hain jo is mein fasad phailayega aur khoon rezi karega jab ki hum aap ki tahmid ke sath aap ki tasbih aur taqdis bayan karte hain? Allah Ta'ala ne firishton se farmaya: tum do firishton ko le aao taaki zameen par utar aaye aur hum dekhen ki woh kya kaam karte hain? Firishton ne Harut aur Marut ko pesh kiya aur in donon ko zameen par utar diya gaya.
Iske baad "Zahra" nami sitaare ko ek intehai khoobsurat aurat ki shakal mein unke paas bheja gaya woh in donon ke paas aai woh donon is se apne aap ko unke hawale karne ka mutalba karne lage usne kaha bakhuda! Aisa us waqt tak nahin ho sakta jab tak tum ye shirkiya jumla na kaho, Harut aur Marut bole bakhuda hum Allah ke sath kabhi shirk na karenge. Ye sunkar woh wapas chali gayi aur kuch der baad ek bache ko uthaye huye wapas aa gayi unhon ne phir is se wahi takaza kiya usne kaha ki jab tak is bache ko qatal nahin karte us waqt tak ye nahin ho sakta woh donon kehne lage ki hum to ise kisi surat mein qatal nahin karenge. Woh phir wapas chali gayi aur thodi der baad hi sharab ka ek piyala uthaye chali aai unhon ne hasb sabiq is se wahi takaza kiya lekin usne kaha ki jab tak ye sharab na piyoge us waqt aisa nahin ho sakta in donon ne sharab pi li aur nashe mein aa kar is se badkari bhi ki aur bache ko bhi qatal kar diya aur jab unhen afaqa hua to woh kehne lagi ki tumne jin do kaamon ko karne se inkaar kiya tha nashe mein madhosh hone ke baad tumne is mein se ek kaam ko bhi na chhoda phir unhen duniya ki saza aur aakhirat ke azab mein ikhtiyar diya gaya to unhon ne duniya ki saza ko ikhtiyar kar liya.
Faida. Allama Ibn Jauzi Rahmatullah Alaih ne is hadees ko mavzuaat mein shumar kiya hai.
Narrated Ibn 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with him): The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Every intoxicant is forbidden, and every intoxicant is wine."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ہر نشہ آور چیز حرام ہے اور ہر نشہ آور چیز شراب ہے۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar Radi Allah Anhuma marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: Har nasha awar cheez haram hai aur har nasha awar cheez sharaab hai.
Narrated by Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Three people will neither enter Paradise nor will Allah look at them on the Day of Judgment: one who disobeys his parents, a woman who imitates men, and a Dayooth (a man who approves of or condones indecency in his family). And Allah will not look with mercy on three people on the Day of Judgment: one who disobeys his parents, an alcoholic, and one who throws back a favor (is ungrateful).

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: تین آدمی جنت میں داخل ہوں گے اور نہ ہی قیامت کے دن اللہ ان پر نظر کر م فرمائے گا، والدین کا نافرمان، مردوں کی مشابہت اختیار کرنے والی عورت اور دیوث (وہ بےغیرت جو اپنے گھر میں گندگی کو برقرار رکھتا ہے) اور تین آدمیوں پر اللہ قیامت کے دن نظر رحم نہ فرمائے گا والدین کا نافرمان، عادی شرابی، دے کر احسان جتانے والا۔
Saina Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: Teen aadmi jannat mein dakhil honge aur na hi qayamat ke din Allah un par nazar karam farmaye ga, waldain ka nafarman, mardon ki mushabihate ikhtiyar karne wali aurat aur dayoos (wo bay ghairat jo apne ghar mein gandagi ko barqaraar rakhta hai) aur teen aadmiyon par Allah qayamat ke din nazar e reham na farmaye ga waldain ka nafarman, aadi sharabi, de kar ehsan jatane wala.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “There is for you a pool (of water) ahead of you, the distance between whose two banks is like the distance between “Jarba” and “Adhra”. Its vessels (for drinking) are like the stars of the sky. Whoever drinks from it once will never be thirsty again.”

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: تمہارے آگے ایک ایسا حوض ہے جو " جرباء " اور اذرح " کے درمیانی فاصلے جتنا بڑا ہے اس کے کٹورے آسمان کے ستاروں کے برابر ہوں گے جو شخص وہاں پہنچ کر ایک مرتبہ اس کا پانی پی لے گا وہ کبھی پیاسا نہ ہو گا۔
Saina Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: tumhare aage ek aisa hauz hai jo "Jarba" aur "Azrah" ke darmiyani fasle jitna bada hai uske katore aasman ke sitaron ke barabar honge jo shakhs wahan pahunch kar ek martaba uska pani pi le ga woh kabhi pyasa na ho ga.
It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "The deceased is punished because of the wailing of his family."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: میت کو اس کے اہل محلہ کے رونے دھونے کی وجہ سے عذاب ہوتا ہے۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: Mayyat ko uske ahl muhalla ke rone dhone ki wajah se azab hota hai.
Narrated Ibn 'Umar (RA): The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "Fever is from the heat of Hell, so cool it down (reduce the fever) with water."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: بخار جہنم کی تپش کا اثر ہوتا ہے اس لئے اسے پانی سے بجھایا کرو۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: Bukhar jahannum ki tapish ka asar hota hai is liye ise pani se bujhaya karo.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Abdullah Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "None of you should eat or drink with his left hand, for Satan eats and drinks with his left hand."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: تم میں سے کوئی شخص بائیں ہاتھ سے نہ کھائے پیے کیونکہ بائیں ہاتھ سے شیطان کھاتا پیتا ہے۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: Tum mein se koi shakhs bayen hath se na khaye piye kyunki bayen hath se shaitan khata peeta hai.
Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that before the Farewell Pilgrimage, we used to mention it, but we did not know that it would be the farewell meeting with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). During the Farewell Pilgrimage, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) also mentioned the Dajjal in detail during his sermon and said: "Allah has sent every Prophet in the world to warn his people about the tribulation of the Dajjal. Sayyiduna Nuh (peace be upon him) also warned his people, and after him, all the Prophets (peace be upon them) continued to warn. If anything remains hidden from you, then this should not remain hidden from you, that your Lord is not one-eyed." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) repeated this sentence twice.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما فرماتے ہیں کہ ہم لوگ حجۃ الوداع سے پہلے اس کا تذکر ہ کرتے تھے ہمیں یہ معلوم نہ تھا کہ یہ نبی ﷺ کی طرف سے الوداعی ملاقات ہے اس حجۃ الوداع کے موقع پر نبی ﷺ نے دوران خطبہ " دجال " کا بھی خاصا تفصیلی ذکر کیا اور فرمایا: کہ اللہ نے جس نبی کو بھی دنیا میں مبعوث فرمایا: اس نے اپنی امت کو فتنہ دجال سے ضرور ڈرایا ہے سیدنا نوح (علیہ السلام) نے بھی اپنی امت کو ڈرایا تھا اور ان کے بعد بھی تمام انبیاء کر ام (علیہم السلام) ڈراتے رہے اگر تم پر کوئی بات مخفی رہ جائے تو تم پر یہ بات مخفی نہیں رہنی چاہئے کہ تمہارا رب کانا نہیں ہے یہ جملہ آپ ﷺ نے دو مرتبہ دہرایا۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a farmate hain ki hum log Hajjatal Wida se pehle is ka zikar karte the humein ye maloom na tha ki ye Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki taraf se alwida mulaqat hai is Hajjatal Wida ke mauqe par Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne dauran khutba "Dajjal" ka bhi khasa tafsili zikar kiya aur farmaya: ki Allah ne jis Nabi ko bhi duniya mein maboos farmaya: usne apni ummat ko fitna Dajjal se zaroor daraya hai Sayyidna Nuh Alaihissalam ne bhi apni ummat ko daraya tha aur un ke bad bhi tamam Anbiya Karam Alaihimussalam darate rahe agar tum par koi baat makhfi reh jaye to tum par ye baat makhfi nahi rehna chahiye ki tumhara Rab kaana nahi hai ye jumla Aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne do martaba dohraya.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying: The Jews will fight you and you will dominate them to the extent that if a Jew hides beneath a stone, the stone will cry out to the Muslims saying, "A Jew is hiding beneath me. Come and kill him."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے نبی ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ یہودی تم سے قتال کر یں گے اور تم ان پر غالب آجاؤ گے حتیٰ کہ اگر کوئی یہودی کسی پتھرکے نیچے چھپا ہو گا تو وہ پتھر مسلمانوں سے پکار پکار کر کہے گا کہ یہ میرے نیچے یہودی چھپا ہوا ہے آ کر اسے قتل کرو۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki maine Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ye farmate huye suna hai ki Yahudi tum se qatal karenge aur tum un par ghalib a jaoge hatta ki agar koi Yahudi kisi pathar ke neeche chhupa hoga to woh pathar Musalmanon se pukar pukar kar kahega ki ye mere neeche Yahudi chhupa hua hai aa kar ise qatal karo.
Narrated by Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: When any one of you feels sleepy while sitting in his place on Friday, he should change his place.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: جب تم میں سے کسی کو جمعہ کے دن اپنی جگہ پر بیٹھے بیٹھے اونگھ آ جائے تو اسے اپنی جگہ بدل لینی چاہئے۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: Jab tum mein se kisi ko juma ke din apni jaga par baithe baithe ungh aa jaye to use apni jaga badal leni chahiye.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbidding people to keep the meat of their sacrifices for more than three days (this ruling was later abrogated).

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ کو تین دن سے زیادہ اپنی قربانی کا گوشت اپنے پاس رکھنے سے لوگوں کو منع کرتے ہوئے سنا ہے (بعد میں یہ حکم منسوخ ہو گیا تھا)
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko teen din se zyada apni qurbani ka gosht apne pass rakhne se logon ko mana karte hue suna hai (baad mein yeh hukm mansukh ho gaya tha).
Muhammad bin Ibrahim said that Abu Salama bin Abdur Rahman and Sulaiman bin Yasar both narrated this hadith of Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) to him, although I was also present in that gathering with both of them, but I was a young boy, so I could not remember it, that a man asked Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) about the Witr prayer? And he narrated the whole hadith, Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) commanded to make the last prayer of the night Witr.

محمد بن ابراہیم کہتے ہیں کہ ابوسلمہ بن عبدالرحمن اور سلیمان بن یسار دونوں نے ان سے سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کی یہ حدیث ذکر کی ہے گو کہ اس مجلس میں ان دونوں کے ساتھ میں بھی موجود تھا لیکن میں چھوٹا بچہ تھا اس لئے اسے یاد نہ رکھ سکا کہ ایک آدمی نے سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے وتروں کے متعلق دریافت کیا؟ اور پوری حدیث ذکر کی سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے فرمایا: کہ نبی ﷺ نے رات کی آخری نماز وتر کو بنانے کا حکم دیا ہے۔
Muhammad bin Ibrahim kahte hain ki Abu Salama bin Abdur Rahman aur Sulaiman bin Yasar dono ne inse Saidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a ki ye hadees zikar ki hai go ke is majlis mein in dono ke sath mein bhi maujood tha lekin mein chhota bachcha tha isliye ise yaad na rakh saka ki ek aadmi ne Saidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se witron ke mutalliq daryaft kiya aur puri hadees zikar ki Saidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a ne farmaya ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne raat ki aakhri namaz witr ko banane ka hukum diya hai
Nafi' reported that when Ibn 'Umar (Allah be pleased with them) was asked about Witr, he would say: If I intend to offer Witr before going to sleep and there is a possibility of offering the night prayer as well, I offer one rak'ah along with the rak'ah of Witr which I have already offered. Then I continue to offer two rak'ahs each and when I complete the prayer, I offer one rak'ah along with two rak'ahs and thus offer Witr, for the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) commanded us to make Witr the last prayer of the night.

نافع رحمہ اللہ کہتے ہیں کہ سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے جب وتر کے متعلق سوال کیا جاتا تو وہ فرماتے کہ میں تو اگر سونے سے پہلے وتر پڑھنا چاہوں پھر رات کی نماز کا ارادہ بھی بن جائے تو میں وتر کی پڑھی گئی رکعت کے ساتھ ایک رکعت اور ملا لیتاہوں پھر دو دو رکعتیں پڑھتا رہتا ہوں جب نماز مکمل کر لیتاہوں تو دو رکعتوں کے ساتھ ایک رکعت کو ملا کرو تر پڑھ لیتا ہوں کیونکہ نبی ﷺ نے رات کی آخری نماز وتر کو بنانے کا حکم دیا ہے۔
Nafey rehmatullah alaih kehte hain ke sayyidna ibn umar razi allaho anhuma se jab witr ke mutalliq sawal kiya jata to wo farmate ke main to agar sone se pehle witr parhna chahoon phir raat ki namaz ka irada bhi ban jaye to main witr ki parhi gayi rakat ke sath ek rakat aur mila leta hoon phir do do rakat parhta rehta hoon jab namaz mukammal kar leta hoon to do rakato ke sath ek rakat ko mila kar witr parh leta hoon kyunki nabi sallallaho alaihi wasallam ne raat ki aakhri namaz witr ko banane ka hukum diya hai
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidna Ibn Umar (Allah be pleased with him) that when people would buy goods from riders, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would send some people to them who would forbid them from selling the goods to someone else then and there, until they had taken them to their tents.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ جب لوگ سواروں سے کوئی سامان خریدتے تھے تو نبی ﷺ ان کے پاس کچھ لوگوں کو بھیجتے تھے جو انہیں اس بات سے منع کرتے تھے کہ اسی جگہ کھڑے کھڑے اسے کسی اور کے ہاتھ فروخت کر دیں جب تک کہ اسے اپنے خیمے میں نہ جائیں۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki jab log sawaron se koi saman kharidte the to Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) un ke pas kuch logon ko bhejte the jo unhen is baat se mana karte the ki isi jagah khade khade use kisi aur ke hath farokht kar den jab tak ki use apne khaime mein na jayen.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) designated Yalamlam as the Miqat for the people of Yemen.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے اہل یمن کے لئے یلملم کو میقات فرمایا:۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne ahle Yemen ke liye Yalamlam ko miqat farmaya.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The seller and the buyer have the right to cancel the sale until they separate, or unless they have stipulated a condition of option."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: بائع (بچنے والا) اور مشتری (خریدنے والا اور بیچنے والا) میں سے ہر ایک کو اس وقت تک اختیار رہتا ہے جب تک وہ جدا نہ ہو جائیں یا یہ کہ وہ بیع خیار ہو۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: Bayi (bechne wala) aur mushtari (kharidne wala aur bechne wala) mein se har ek ko us waqt tak ikhtiyar rahta hai jab tak wo juda na ho jayen ya ye ki wo bay khayar ho.
Abu Hanthalah reported that he asked Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) about the prayer while traveling. He replied, "The prayer during a journey is two rak'ahs." We said, "But now there is peace and security everywhere, while Allah Almighty says, '...If you fear...'?" He replied, "This is the Sunnah of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)."

ابوحنظلہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے سفر کی نماز کے متعلق دریافت کیا انہوں نے فرمایا: کہ سفر میں نماز کی دو رکعتیں ہیں ہم نے کہا کہ اب تو ہر طرف امن وامان ہے جبکہ اللہ تعالیٰ فرماتے ہیں اگر تمہیں خوف ہو؟ فرمایا: یہ نبی ﷺ کی سنت ہے۔
AbuHanzala kehte hain ki maine Sayyidina Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se safar ki namaz ke mutalliq daryaft kiya unhon ne farmaya: ki safar mein namaz ki do rakat hain hum ne kaha ki ab to har taraf aman o aman hai jabke Allah Ta'ala farmate hain agar tumhein khof ho? farmaya: yah Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki sunnat hai.
Abu Rabee’ (rahimahullah) narrates: I attended a funeral with Sayyiduna Ibn ‘Umar (radiyallahu ‘anhuma). He heard a man wailing loudly so he sent a person to quiet him down. I asked him, “O Abu ‘Abdir-Rahman! Why did you make him stop?” He said, “As long as the deceased is not laid to rest in the grave, he is being tormented (by this).”
I then asked, “Sometimes I pray Fajr with you at such a time that after the salam, I am unable to see the face of the person sitting next to me, and sometimes you pray with so much light.” He replied, “I saw Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) praying in this manner and I love to pray how I saw Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) praying.”

ابوالربیع رحمہ اللہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں ایک جنازے میں سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کے ساتھ شریک تھا، ان کے کانوں میں ایک آدمی کے چیخنے چلانے کی آواز آئی انہوں نے اس کے پاس ایک آدمی کو بھیج کر اسے خاموش کروایا میں نے ان سے پوچھا اے ابوعبدالرحمن آپ نے اسے کیوں خاموش کروایا؟ انہوں نے فرمایا: کہ جب تک مردہ قبر میں داخل نہ ہو جائے اسے اس سے اذیت ہوتی ہے میں نے ان سے پھر پوچھا کہ بعض اوقات میں آپ کے ساتھ صبح کی نماز ایسے وقت میں پڑھتا ہوں کہ سلام پھیرنے کے بعد مجھے اپنے ساتھ بیٹھے ہوئے آدمی کا چہرہ نظر نہیں آتا اور کبھی آپ خوب روشنی کر کے نماز پڑھتے ہیں؟ انہوں نے فرمایا: کہ میں نے نبی ﷺ کو اسی طرح نماز پڑھتے ہوئے دیکھا ہے اور مجھے یہ بات محبوب ہے کہ میں اسی طرح نماز پڑھوں جیسے میں نے نبی ﷺ کو پڑھتے ہوئے دیکھا ہے۔
Abualrabi rahmatullah kahte hain ki mein ek janaze mein sayyidna ibne umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a ke sath sharik tha, unke kanon mein ek aadmi ke cheekhne chilane ki aawaz aai unhon ne uske paas ek aadmi ko bhej kar use khamosh karwaya maine unse puchha aye abuabdurrehman aap ne use kyon khamosh karwaya? Unhon ne farmaya: ki jab tak murda qabar mein dakhil na ho jaye use is se aziyat hoti hai maine unse phir puchha ke baaz auqat mein aap ke sath subah ki namaz aise waqt mein padhta hun ke salaam phirne ke baad mujhe apne sath baithe huye aadmi ka chehra nazar nahin aata aur kabhi aap khoob roshni kar ke namaz padhte hain? Unhon ne farmaya: ki maine nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko isi tarah namaz padhte huye dekha hai aur mujhe ye baat mahboob hai ki mein isi tarah namaz padhun jaise maine nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko padhte huye dekha hai.
It was narrated from Ibn ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “There used to be (a belief in) bad omens in three things: a horse, a woman and a house.”

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: نحوست تین چیزوں میں ہوسکتی تھی گھوڑے میں عورت میں اور گھر میں۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar razi Allah unhuma se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: Nahusat teen cheezon mein hosakti thi ghore mein aurat mein aur ghar mein.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever drinks wine, flog him. If he drinks it again, flog him. If he drinks it a third time, flog him. And on the fourth or fifth time," he said, "kill him."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: جو شخص شراب نوشی کرے اسے کوڑے مارو دوبارہ پیئے تو پھر مارو سہ بارہ پیئے تو پھر مارو اور چوتھی یا پانچویں مرتبہ فرمایا: کہ اسے قتل کر دو۔
